The Fitness After 40 reality series follows Shawn Rays’ life for 14 weeks after a
challenge to get in shape from long time friend Bob Cicherillo. Cicherillo had just
won the 2006 IFBB Masters World Championship at the age of 40. He then challenged
Shawn to lose the weight he had packed on after 5 years retirement. Shawn responded
by saying there was no way he could lose.

From 1988 to 2001 he competed in a record 11 consecutive Mr. Olympia contests, never
